Yes! Some restrictions apply depending on weight and wind conditions;  ultimately it’s the Captain’s decision.

It’s up to you! Just let the Captain know if you want to stay dry or get your feet wet.

Actually it’s quite the opposite. Parasailing is very serene and peaceful. Take off’s and landings are very slow and gentle making you feel as if you are truly ‘floating on air’.

After cruising out of Destin Harbor, your Captain will head South through Destin Pass and into the Gulf of Mexico. If sea conditions are too rough in the Gulf your Captain will head North into the calm waters of Choctawhatchee Bay.

In addition to awesome panoramic views of the Destin beaches and Emerald coast, on occasion you will see dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays, fishermen, tour boats, sunburnt tourists, and lots of colorful beach umbrellas!

No, the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) limits parasails to fly no higher than 500 vertical feet from the surface of the earth (CFR 101.13). 400 feet up is about how high you will get on an 800 ft towline.

We recommend at least 2-3 days in advance during peak season (June – August). For large groups of 15 or more please reserve 4-5 days in advance. If you are unsure of your vacation schedule at least try to make a reservation early in the morning before all the boats fill up for the day!

Early Morning! We all like to sleep in while on vacation but you just can’t beat morning flights. Temperatures are in the mid 70’s, the Gulf of Mexico is calm, winds are light, and boat traffic is at a minimum. By going early you also avoid any chance of afternoon showers we commonly get in the summer.
